In the morning of the first day we pick you up at your hotel and drive from Marrakech to Zagora. On our way, we cross the High Atlas Tizi-n-Tichka, we stop in Ait Benhaddou, Morocco's most famous kasbah, and we'll have a lunch break in Kasbah Tamnougalte. You will also see the Draa River valley with its countless palm trees and old Kasbahs. Dinner will either take place in a three-star hotel or a nice Riad.

After breakfast, we will head out to M'Hamid. We will stop in Tamgroute to visit the Koran library, an underground Kasbah and to enjoy the pottery handcrafts. We will arrive to M'Hamid for lunch. In the afternoon we will start a 2 hours camel ride. We will have dinner in a beautiful nomad camp in the desert with high comfort.

After breakfast, we will start a two-hour camel ride among the dunes (optional). Pick up is at approximately 10:30 am with a 4x4 vehicle. Following a journey through beautiful desert landscapes, we will reach the Sacred Oasis (Holy Oasis) and eat lunch.

The Sacred Oasis consists of a small group of palm trees surrounding a water source in the midst of the desert, running water all year long. Departure at about 4 p.m. to reach the dunes of Erg Chegaga, 15 km away. The largest group of dunes of the region reaches a 300 m height and the Erg itself is 40 km across. We will be spending the night in nomad tents among the dunes. Dinner will be provided along with entertainment.
