Hello, my name is Said! I was born in 1991 as first child in a nomadic family. As I was born in the middle of the desert, my exact date of birth is unknown. After some years of living a lucky and innocent nomadic life, the climate change forced my family to leave the Sahara and to settle down in M’Hamid Alghizlan.
However, I kept being fascinated by the desert. I started to discover its mysteries and to keep alive the culture of the nomadic people. Nowadays I share these adventures with curious visitors from Morocco and from abroad.
In order to be a good tour guide, I learned several languages fluently. I know driving the 4x4 jeep as well as leading a camel caravan or orientating myself by the stars at night. Also sandboarding and playing traditional Berber music are part of my beloved job.
You are welcome to discover the true magic of the Sahara with me and my team:
Ismail & Said: Two amazing and funny cooks who will conquer you with their delicious moroccan dishes (harira soup, tajine, sand bread…) and their smiles.
Brahim: A super kind and amazing guide who will support and help you with all your needs, responsible for the management and safety of the camels.
Salamat & Lazgam: Two white and black camels who will join you all the way in your adventure through the Sahara.
